We’re publishing a subtitled version of a video made during Marichuy’s presidential run in Mexico. This one is about Guadalupe Vázquez Luna, survivor of the 1997 Acteal massacre and Tsotsil Indigenous concejal in the Indigenous Government Council (Concejo indígena de gobierno, CIG). She explains what the State and capital want from the lands of her pueblo, why she fights, and what the goal was in running Marichuy as an independent candidate.
